Very well. There is a dedicated careers team here who have helped me figure out what my potential career options could be. Specific employability modules taught best practise in CV and application writing and interview techniques, and I have been on paid work placements.

The subject matter of the course is interesting and is taught enthusiastically, with open discussion and independent learning encouraged. I have a great relationship with my lecturers who treat me as an equal so I am happy to get involved in discussions or seek advice when appropriate.

I do not get involved with the student's union - I am a mature student who works as well as studies and have little time for anything else.

The library is exceptional, with all the resources, study areas and PC access I need. Campus catering is overly expensive and there is a lack of student run initiatives. In addition, I have recently discovered that the Costcutter on campus turns over excess of £2 million profit! Surely a Union led initiative would be more suitable and could raise money for the students rather thasn make money from them!

Mature student with little time so do not get involved. But there are many that I would like to have joined if I had the time to do so.

I have received help for both academic and personal troubles throughout my studies. Obviously there a procedures in place within the University, but the people who have helped me have gone above and beyond in ensuring that my student and welfare needs are met and maintained.
