Beautiful univeristy with lots of gorgeous green space (and a campus cat!) Engaged and passionate professors with excellent teaching (especially on the Natural Sciences course). Plenty of societies and sports (over 130 societies and 60 sports) with events from both and the Guild (union) alike so plenty to do. Decent support from the Guild and uni support services. Getting better on the diversity front, but not a lot of POCs, especially black and brown people in the univeristy or surrounding area.

Such an incredible course - incredible professors, great teaching, wonderful community! Everyone is very engaged in the course and with each other, it's a very supportive environment. And the teaching is great - you're able to take any modules the entire university in the sciences which offers great freedom. Plenty of focus on project work which is great for developing practical research skills. Can't overstate how incredible the course and community is.

Plenty of accommodation options - the new accommodation (East Park) was oversubscribed but others are still quite decent. Most are on campus and no further than a 30min walk into city centre. Those off campus can be a bit more inconvenient but are still decent.

Absolutely love Exeter. All the campuses are lovely but I live on Streatham Campus and I'm enjoying it so much. I study BSc Geography and I (mostly) always look forward to lectures and reading because the course is so engaging and my lecturers are great!

Library is great and so are all the new study spaces (Devonshire House, The Loft, Amory Study Centre) although sometimes it gets pretty busy. Lots of the buildings are new and even the older ones aren't run down.

As a disabled student, the uni has been great and really accommodating. If you have a disability of any kind don't be afraid to tell the uni as they can really help you with day to day studies, exam provisions and advice. Likewise if you have mental health difficulties as there is so much support available to you. Also the students advice unit is really helpful with advice about housing, harassment, etcetc and SID (student information desk) is super helpful for any question you have about anything. You can go to their desk in the forum, email them, add an enquiry on their website or phone them.

Lots of clubs and societies. Student pub (The Ram) is wonderful. You have to try the curly fries! The club (The Lemmy) is alright but I'm not a huge fan of clubbing anyway.

You have to try the Old Firehouse for their amazing pizzas and many different types of local cider it's always my favourite way to spend an evening. Plenty of clubs although I don't like clubbing really so depends what you like. City centre has loads of great shops and bars and cute tea shops (try Tea on the Green, it's wonderful)

Loads of different things to join and lots of sports too so there really is something for everyone.

Love my course so far, it's really varied and my lecturers explain things well. It is very different from sixth form because you get so little guidance on your assignments but I've found lecturers are happy to help when you go and see them.

The Career Zone is great with lots of support available online and in person. The Exeter Award is easy to get involved with

Good range of accommodation. I live in Rowe House and it's a little pricey but it has great living space and big en suite rooms with double beds.
