Great fun with good prospects for the future and worldwide recognition but also very hard work. The city is lovely and everything is so close to your college although the nightlife is very limited in quality!
Facilities
How good are your university's facilities?
World class and very modern
Student support
How good is the support offered by the uni? Think both academic (tutors/feedback) and personal (counselling, etc).
I have never had to use it but apparently there is lots available
Students' union
What do you think of your Students' Union in terms of student representation and facilities?
Never really hear from them or go to any of their events
Local life
Is your university in a good location in terms of distance to accommodation and local amenities?
A nice city but the nightlife is awful
Societies and Sports
How would you rate the variety of societies/sports?
Too many to consider them all
Lecturers and teaching quality
What do you like most and least about the way your course(s) are taught?
Lots of contact hours and stimulating course material. Practicals can be a bit boring though
Career prospects
How does your uni make efforts to increase your employability (careers department, work placements, transferable skills)?
You can do almost anything with a Cambridge degree
University halls
What do you think about the safety, condition, location and cost of your accommodation?
Cheap and functional but we have to fully vacate over the holidays which means we have to take our stuff home and back again which is annoying.

Fab experience in terms of traditions that you'd never get anywhere else, but can be very stressful, and be warned, it's tough!

The best bits include the huuuuge variety of clubs and societies - rowing, other sporting teams, go-karting, music societies, even tea and ice cream societies, both at a college and university level.
On the other hand, if you're wanting to go out partying all the time, it's not the place for you! Most people I know party a couple of times a term after first year (and even in first year not a huge amount after Fresher's), but the Formals (3-course Hogwarts-style candle-lit dinners) make up for it!
