The community of students is incredible and Sheffield as a whole is a great place to study. Its location is great with it being a small city close to the countryside (Peak District).

I have very little contact hours and feel as though I receive a lot less for my tuition fees than that of my peers from other subjects. The lecturers are largely great, with experience in the field being taught. I feel as though the facilities of the university as a whole are good but we don’t have access to them all.

They were a good way of meeting a variety of people when starting uni and the rooms were lovely. I liked that we had an en-suite.

the only university for material science in the uk. i wouldn't recommend it for the lectures, it was to easy and just not the level of my university. good parties, a lot of international students, organisation was ok
