The teaching here is fab, you know when you can go for extra help and the lecturers make it as easy as possible for you to get the grades. The student's union is also excellent with activities on every day to help students make friends and have fun, although I didn't need this as my departments are both so friendly and rad that I could make friends on the first evening and throughout the week thanks to the Welcome Week. The facilities at the university are excellent, as there are many books and computers in the library, as well as more specialized facilities such as, for example, new pianos in music. Overall, i've felt like Bangor is a very welcoming university and it's very hard to think up faults, hence the five star rating.

The uni is in a great location if you're an outdoorsy person. Snowdonia is roughly 30mins away. There are lots of opportunities to join societies and meet new people and the uni is really close to the accommodation so easily accessible. It's great that the uni offers £2 meals as well.

The content is really interesting and the lecturers provide extensive reading lists for further reading which is really helpful when it comes to writing assignments. I think there could be more contact hours just because 50 minutes isn't really long enough sometimes when you get into a topic but then have to rush at then end because the time is up. But the lecturers are really friendly and are generally good at replying to emails quickly.

The uni halls felt very safe and secure. The communal areas were cleaned weekly as well and there's an onsite shop if you need to buy something quickly. My building was really close to bar uno, the shop, launderette and halls office so I recommend this building when choosing accommodation if you want to be close to all the amenities. The top floor kitchen also has the best view.
