I love my university. It’s small enough so that you get all the help you need, but it’s big enough that if there’s people you don’t want to see you don’t have to. Having everything that could be needed on campus is a huge bonus and I can’t imagine having gone to a different uni.

Sometimes the WiFi doesn’t work in certain areas but other than that every thing works okay. The library has access to materials 24/7 which is helpful during the holidays and the lead up to exam week.

Everyone has access to counselling should the need or want it. Personal rotors and academic staff have so much time for you. I’ve never had any issues getting the support I needed and as a full time carer that’s been a lot.

As I live off site I don’t know much about the university students union.

I chose the university because of its locality to my home. As a student who commutes the university is very accommodating. You are a 10minute walk away from the city centre and there is plenty on campus. Cinema, gym, bar, Starbucks and coffee shops along side the small shop the su look after, are all on campus. Bus routes stop outside the uni and there’s loads of on site accommodation and local offsite accommodation.

There are so many societies at our Uni. I’m not a part of any because I don’t have the time. But even if there isn’t a society you want to join you can easily make one.

My course starts at basics, which if you know nothing is super helpful, but if you have a base knowledge is a bit more annoying. My lectures have all been great. We go on so many trips, so far in my 1.5yrs I’ve been to Leicester, London, Coventry, Lincoln, the National war rememberance arboretum, and India. Next year I know we go to Italy. Getting first hand experience is awesome for us.

There’s so much help. Personal tutors are great for helping but we have a whole building to help with career and employability .

The university is very welcoming and helpful. There are plenty of resources. The campus is beautiful.

The lecturers have been great. Very informative, respectful, and helpful. The subject matter is interesting and challenging.
