There is a lot of support, from SU, the professors, tutors, classmates, very supportive and friendly environment. The biggest and most important improvement for me would be financial support, would be life changing while doing my degree as it is a big truggle to keep up with all of the costs.

When it came to finding a placmeent the support given was sometimes very frustrating as the links to different placements given would be ignored, rejected etc. The links given can be quite dissapointing. A good side to this is that when asking for help with these frustrations the tutor(s) and professors do try to help

The university and campus itself is in an amazing location, it is large and has a lot of beautiful relaxing places like the lakes, benches under the trees, quite zones for studying etc. SU HOMES help to find cheap accomodations close to university when student halls are too expensive. One thing that isn't so great is the area close to the university. Outside of campus the area where I live (very nearby) is a very dodgy neighbourhood with many shady characters around, esspecially during night time. While I adore the university and it's campus it is difficult to understand how an area so close to university can be so different in nature.
