It's a really good location to be in, and for the university in relation to the city it is well connected to the centre while still being in a slightly quieter place. The students' union also always has lots going on, and good club nights too. However they need to be more proactive in terms of fundraising and focusing on activism, as the students' voices need to be better represented.

There are not many contact hours with a focus of half and half reading and lecture content, there should be more contact hours and less reading for a better balance, in my opinion, however everyone prefers different things. it is sometimes hard to keep up because every lecturer has their own teaching style so the lecturers can conflict with each other. However there is lots of careers information and bulletins, but there need to be more staff supporting students wanting 1:1 support as there is almost no availability with this

There are good amenities, including a shop and gym room, the halls itself are very beautiful with lots of green trees and nature. However it is located a bit far away from the university which can be inconvenient. Slightly on the more expensive side but good maintenance and choice of rooms, so good value for money

Best - the student Union is fantastic with lots of great study areas and places to eat and the foundry always hosts lots of events. Sheffield is also a fun place for a night out as well as lots of pretty areas. To be improved - the prices of food and hot drinks can be a bit expensive but they normally have deals on so it’s not too bad

Best - the content and the lecturers are really passionate about what they teach To improve - less online learning. I have one online lecture a week which is prerecorded but I prefer having them all in person

Most - the community it created and the value for money and also the village shop being so close by To improve - the laundrette was very expensive
