it’s a lovely campus which is very clean and modern. all of the staff are so lovely and so helpful. the only campus-related thing i would say is that the hive (student union cafe) closes food early and isn’t very big.

as i’m only a first year i’ve not been informed of placements etc yet so i can’t comment, but all of the staff are lovely!!

quite expensive but worth it for the location and the amount of flatmates you get (6 people per flat). the wifi works in individual rooms but can be had in the kitchen.

Leeds beckett keeps us students updated all the time via emails, so you don’t miss out on opportunities. The lecturers are all super friendly and always happy to answer any questions or help in any way. I don’t think there needs to be any improvement

Online classes were not for me, but due to covid it was unavoidable. The mix of seminars and lectures are very useful, especially when they’re on the same day. For some of the assignments, it could be made clear what exactly is expected, such as running through past examples of model answers and looking at those that aren’t as good. This would reduce a lot of stress because often I’m unsure how the essay is supposed to be written, what’s expected and how to impress

There was always something going on downstairs, like the animal man, guide dogs or pot painting. This was really nice to have the option to go and join in on. No real complaints, but for a student the price is always going to seem too high. The door into the flat could just be opened, despite having it ‘fixed’ multiple times, which was kind of scary that someone could just walk in. Otherwise quick to fix any faults and replace anything that needed doing successfully
