Bournemouth University has a very friendly, upbeat and positive attitude towards student studies. There is a very real sense of community with a wide range of clubs and societies as well as ample opportunities for students to connect and make friends. The only way in which the masters course could be improved is the spacing out of teaching of more complex models within the year timeframe instead of the condensing of particularly complex materials over 2 months of the year.

I don’t mind the blended learning approach but I think greater consideration could be given to timetabling. With varying time gaps between sessions being common meaning one could have an online session 9-10 but an in person session 10-11 or an in person session 2-3 and then a wait until 6 for an online session- making it difficult to implement one’s own downtime/ well-being routine.
