Having one lecture or seminar a day for the whole week instead of 2 full days and 3 days off

Most: all my flatmates are nice and I have a new friend group because of it Worst: sometimes the lift doesn’t work so it’s a long wait

The uni buildings are in a good location, portsmouth is good for a night out but slightly dangerous- as is everywhere these days though!

The masters course is DIRE. Lack of lecturers, zero organisation, terrible briefs for assessments. Honestly appalling. No one was given a timetable on the first week so no-one turned up. Not enough dissertation supervisors so the uni had to put staff on overtime to cover it, and the staff weren’t necessarily right for the topic you wanted. Lecturers withheld important stuff and lecture notes from the Moodle to try and encourage people to turn up, this just meant it was super difficult for the people that did turn up, and was not accessible for people with learning disabilities or for genuine absence due to illness. Of course there are one or two brilliant lecturers but the overall course is a shambles and you’re totally on your own.
