One of the best parts of my university experience has been the supportive learning environment and approachable lecturers who genuinely want students to succeed. The mix of practical and theoretical learning, along with diverse classmates from different backgrounds, has made the experience enriching and engaging. I also appreciate the campus facilities and opportunities for personal and professional growth. I’ve also enjoyed taking part in various campus activities that make student life vibrant and engaging. The university offers a great range of clubs and societies that help students connect and explore their interests. However, it would be even better if all clubs were free to join so that every student could participate equally without financial barriers. This would encourage more involvement and make the overall student experience even better.

The best part of my course has been the engaging teaching style and the strong support from lecturers, who are always approachable and willing to help. The balance between theory and practical application has really enhanced my understanding, and the in-class discussions make learning more interactive and enjoyable. Sometimes the workload feels quite heavy, especially when several assignments are due around the same time. It would also be helpful to have more industry-focused workshops or guest lectures to link course content with real-world practice.

What’s to love: The university’s location is one of its biggest strengths. It’s close to everything — shops, cafes, parks, making it easy to balance study and leisure. The city has a friendly atmosphere, affordable living costs, and a strong sense of community, which makes it a great place for students from all backgrounds. What’s not so great: The weather can sometimes be unpredictable and quite rainy, which takes some getting used to. Apart from that, the city feels safe and welcoming overall.
