Brunel University is a great place to study for a variety of reasons. It’s a modern, vibrant and diverse university that is continually working to provide students with the best education and learning facilities.
The university has excellent academic and research facilities, including a range of cutting-edge laboratories, libraries, and computer rooms. In addition, there are a variety of student services available at Brunel, such as career guidance, student health services, and wellbeing initiatives. The university also offers an impressive range of extra-curricular activities, such as sports clubs, societies, and other social events.
As with any university, there are always opportunities for improvement. One way Brunel could improve is by offering more in terms of student support and guidance. Currently, there is guidance available for students on topics such as finance, careers and health, but there is room for improvement. Additionally, the university could work to provide more resources and facilities for extracurricular activities, such as sports clubs and societies. This could help to make Brunel University an even more attractive prospect for prospective students.

At Brunel University, courses are typically taught in lectures, tutorials and seminars, with some courses offering practical sessions. The contact hours vary depending on the course, but usually include 1-2 lectures and 1-2 tutorials or seminars per week.
Lectures are typically led by a professor or lecturer, while tutorials and seminars are usually led by a tutor or teaching assistant. During lectures, students are expected to take notes and engage with the material, while tutorial and seminar sessions provide a space for discussion and collaboration.
The university also offers a variety of additional contact hours for students, including drop-in sessions with lecturers, one-to-one advice sessions, and additional online resources. Additionally, students have the option of meeting with their personal tutor to discuss any course-related issues and get advice and guidance. This allows students to get the most out of their course and stay on track with their studies.

One of the great things about Brunel University's location is its proximity to London. Not only is London a great place to explore and have fun, but it also offers plenty of job opportunities and access to some of the world's best museums, galleries, and attractions. Additionally, Brunel's campus is easily accessible by public transport, making it convenient for students to travel to and from the university.
However, one downside to Brunel's location is the high cost of living in the area. London is an expensive city and the cost of rent, food, and transportation can be quite steep, meaning that students often find themselves struggling to make ends meet.

University halls
What do you think about the safety, condition, location and cost of your accommodation?
One of the things I like most about Brunel University's student accommodation halls is the excellent customer service provided by the accommodation team. They are always willing to help out with any queries or concerns, and they are available 24/7 to ensure that all students feel comfortable and safe in their new homes.
The one thing I don't like about the university's halls is the lack of communal spaces. While there are some communal spaces available, such as a common room or kitchen, there is not enough space for larger groups of students to socialise or study together. This can make it difficult for students to get to know each other and build a sense of community.
