There are always friendly faces around to help and the facilities are very good I love the sports centre and am there most days for my sport, the medical centre is also brilliant and all the lectures have been engaging I would say that being in first year in the halls sometimes can feel a bit lonely I’m not sure how the uni would improve this but sometimes especially on weekends it can be quite isolating if friends go home

The University has amazing facilities including an incredible sport leisure centre. This was one of the things that made me choose the Uni. It includes a climbing wall, swimming pool, dojo area, several studios for classes, a high performance zone for elite athletes and excellent coaches. The outside area consists of around 330 acres which is lovely to walk around at any time. My teaching facilities for my course are very good. My lectures take place in the Medical Centre which is in the QMC. It is very helpful having lectures here as we are able to work in an environment that is realistic for our careers future. Finally, my accommodation is great. It has everything I need and I wouldn't complain about anything.

My course consists of not a lot of not a lot of contact time as we go over anatomy by ourselves and then consolidate at the end of the week however semester 2 looks like there are double the contact time that semester 1. Facilities are great, we have had the opportunity to see dissections which has been extremely beneficial for my leaning of the body.

I have nothing to complain about my halls. The location is perfect for going into town as it is a 5 min walk to the tram stop and 10 mins from Portland (SU). However it is a 30 min walk to my lectures. I do not mind this as i can walk through a lovely green or frosty campus.
