Good support from personal tutors, and lectures when reaching out to them

Placements are not allowed any input and all allocated for us. Tell some students there placements while not telling others.

Fine, not the best town, but not awful

Living in halls was really good for first year.

I appreciate that there are lots of opportunities to get involved with sport or different societies as well as general SU events open to all students. My lecturers are very knowledgeable and the campus both students and staff is very diverse and representative of all. I do not feel the gym facilities are suitable for a school of this size. I would appreciate better facilities for fitness overall. Additionally, blades appears to favour certain sports over others. Finally, I do not feel the hours of the Essex store (where you get Essex jumpers etc) are conducive to students schedules. I often am in class all day and when I finish lessons the store is closed and I am therefore never really able to go inside and look around.

Lecturers do a good job of keeping lines of communication open with students by entertaining questions and hearing class concerns. Online work for certain modules can be rather boring and time consuming which is not the most ideal combination.

I appreciate that I feel very safe in the building once I am in my room there are 3 locked doors separating me from the outside. The location being across from the bridge is not the most ideal and for that you would hope the price would be slightly cheaper to maximize value for money. I have had some issue with maintenance, the response time for concerns could be slightly improved.
