Toilet facilities not the best, always out of soap and some cubicles so small you can’t get in and out easily with a bag

Merges with sports science for a lot of the course which isn’t great and placements don’t count towards grade- would be great if rhey could balance this by taking top 3 grades and including these in final grade to be fairer. They have listened to our feedback and changed the course each year

I have really enjoyed my time at the University of Birmingham. I gained so much independence when moving away from home in my first year and felt supported by the university in doing so. My course has interesting and well organised content, with experienced lecturers who can provide insight into the profession and guidance. I have been adequately supported in finding clinical placements to further my learning. I have also been encouraged to participate in a variety of social events and societies, which are some of my favourite memories from my time here. There are small aspects of my course that could improve, but overall I have thoroughly enjoyed my almost 4 years studying here!

The course is well structured. The timetable is manageable across all four years. Most of the teaching and feedback is of a good standard. However, I have experienced low engagement with my academic tutor.

I think the university accommodation is quite expensive, although I know this is common. I also found the universities accommodation allocation process to be challenging. However, the accommodation itself is of a good standard, the food is nice, and I enjoyed my time living here.
