It’s in a really nice location because it’s not in the city centre which makes it feel less chaotic. First year freshers is really good and really interactive. I made a lot of friends during this. There are a lot of communal areas for studying whether it be a quiet place or somewhere you can talk. The facilities such as the library and su are all on the main campus which makes it harder for students off campus to access easily with transport and stuff. It’s a longer journey.

We see there tutors twice a week which isn’t a lot of face to face contact. Placements aren’t provided by the uni for this course which means we have to find places on our own which had proven to be a real struggle. Course hours aren’t bad but I feel like there needs to be more practical based hours maybe once a week to reinforce previous learning.

The halls were on the main campus which made it easy to attend lessons and didn’t have to pay for travel. It was good value for money I believe because it’s right on campus however it isn’t in the city centre so for nights out it would cost more in travel to get to and from. The en-suite rooms were quite small. Especially the bathroom.
