Great for research - particularly my area medical physics. Good support networks. Lots of green space on campus. Great sports facilities. Great libraries. For me, societies feel really cliquey so I've never connected or stuck at one - would be nicer to have activities from the SU that are separate from societies so anyone can attend. But it seems like most people love the societies. I don't feel at all connected to the SU

Its a PhD so don't have lectures. Lots of contact with supervisor, rest of research group.

Good size standard room with sink for reasonable price. Large shared kitchen. Quiet location.
