Lecturers are brilliant. Feels cosy and like you sort of know a lot of the cohort without feeling restricting

I feel like I’m getting practically a whole physics degree and 2/3 of a maths degree out of it, while doing not much more work than the single subject students. It’s great to have that diversity of modules. Feels like a good amount of course hours, not too much not too few. Some lecturers are really easy to contact and set up many office hours, some not so much but they always set up some way of getting help.

Too many people to one kitchen by far. This should’ve been advertised, the kitchen was completely unusable. Lots of uni advise like trying to talk to all your flatmates to come to some sort of cleaning agreement was simply not applicable here. The room was nice though, small but had enough space for what you’d need in first year. I felt sorry for the cleaners having to clean up the mess from parties and stuff but I think it did need more cleaning as it was borderline impossible to get anyone in the flat to clean for 40 other students, most of whom you don’t even know and wouldn’t thank you for cleaning it. I made some friends for life in this accommodation though so I am very thankful and glad for that!
