Small town to make you feel at ease when you arrive and ensures you won’t get lost. Many many student events to ensure students enjoy themselves and have fun, while sending regular emails out to students about the large variety of help that is available from help with assignments to help with money and help with mental health. They give you an academic advisor on my course not too sure if it’s the same on other and they ensure they have at least one meeting with you face to face or over zoom to ensure you are settling in and not struggling and always open for as many meetings as you need to talk to someone or get help with work.

Most classes are face to face which I prefer so largely benefit from. They have main big lectures and then seminar groups where they ensure the groups are smaller to allow students to have confidence to be able to talk to the lectures about the topic if they need help or have a question. Being a sport course there’s a lot of time being physical and actually having time to do multiple sports and activities but they balance it extremely well to ensure students aren’t burnt out

I love being on campus makes it extremly easy to get to know the town as it’s only a 10 min walk away as well as never being late to lectures as you’re here already. Being catered is extremely helpful as I settled being in a new environment very far away from home so gave me one thing I didn’t need to worry about. Regular inspections to ensure rooms are tidy and everything is working within the rooms. Only issue we’re having silverfish in bathroom however coming back after Christmas the problem seems to be sorted after voicing it with the accommodation office.
