Great support from lecturers ad staff team. Nice that the course isn't too big. decent facilities ad good equipment. the building needs a bit of a reno. as it's the smallest campus it can feel a bit separate from the uni culture. Lectures can feel a tad irrelevant and not necessarily helpful in regard to assignments, especially when one thing is said in a lecture that is then contradicted on moodle / in emails.

Contact time is good. I think the lectures could use the time more efficiently by covering things that are actually in assignments. Communication also needs to improve, there is enough communication but sometimes the lecturers will tell us one thing about an assignment in lecture then it'll be completely different on moodle. even on moodle, it'll tell us one thing then further down in assessment requirements it'll be different.

Seems slightly over priced for what we get, small rooms with plumbing issues. my flat had to wait 3 months for a sofa we could actually sit on. We also had issues with the lift being turned off when its meant to be an accessible building. RAs coming in unannounced can make the flat not feel like a safe space. i think it would be better if there were scheduled appointments the whole flat are made aware of prior to the visit.

The lecturers are very supportive and able to accommodate your needs and interests. They are very friendly and able to help you build your confidence. The photo stores have a lot of equipment to borrow for free and they can offer advice about what you should use. The course is very engaging and practical and will get you out and photographing from the start. There is quite a lot of work and you will need to be dedicated but it is rewarding and you can quickly see yourself grow as a photographer. And you can always chat to the lecturers to make a plan for how to get to where you want to be. The course could be improved by having more facilities on the campus where the course is based. The university experience could be improved by having more engagement from the Student Union. The maintenance and help zone could be more active in sorting out issues as it feels like a lot of student effort is needed to get them to start solving an issue.

The lecturers are fantastic in being supportive and are always engaging and ready to put the effort in to get you to where you want to go. The contact time is good because you have days to yourself to work on what you need to and days where you get to go through work and practical things with lecturers.

The halls are close to my course which is great. And the library and help zone are not too far away. However the quality of these halls is not as good as other halls and maintenance is not quick in responding to issues
