An amazing university. Helpful when first arriving, many activities in freshers to make you feel included and welcome. The facilities are brilliant with the library opened 24/7, and it has just had a refurbishment. The staff are very welcoming and helpful to get you settled in, including the staff around the whole university. There are many opportunities at the university to boost your CV. The Student Union is amazing with something always happening, and the bar and restaurant delivers great food for a student price, as a part of the brand new facilities. Nottingham has a great and varied city life with many bars and clubs, you are never bored, and with great events during christmas, this city is always diverse and entertaining. There are many different clubs and societies to join and the freshers fair helps you to become part of something. The job prospects are high with an over 90% employment rating after 6 months of graduating, the university has links with over 6000 businesses too. The student support is always very good. This is the best university I found and the fact everything is so close together and the facilities are second to none, the buildings around the university have amazing architecture both modern and historic, the university is always updating and improving its facilities and opportunities for its students, and there is brand new accommodation. The NOW online work space for students is brilliant, with everything you could possibly need for your course and about the university being shown. The NOW arranges the interface depending on what school you belong to and gives relevant information based on that, for example if you belong to the school of art and design you get information on the gallery opening time and art shop. The Mac suites in Bonington is brilliant, and the printers, darkroom and photo studios are good with many different types of equipment available and the large sizes of the rooms accommodate the many students.

Nottingham Trent has really helped me to become an indivual person. I went into my course with no idea what I wanted to achieve at the end but now I do. The atmosphere is great and I know help is always there if I need it. The university, accommodation and the city centre are all so close together, it's easy to get from A to B.
