Su nights are great but prices everywhere on campus is too high

There’s not many facilities for philosophy

Not the best accommodation, we had rats, my shower kept leaking mould onto me and couldn’t get fixed, we had rats the whole year and never got sorted

it has a good student feel and I feel supported. it would be better if there were more spaces with plugs for people to do work between classes

the politics department have great teaching and I love the way the lessons are structured with the two hour lecture and a seminar to go more in depth. I enjoy in Philosophy we use the lecture hour to do group reading which helps me deepen my understanding. I do not feel that supported in Economics as the lecturer goes very fast and the seminar does not go into enough detail of the basics. they assume we know things that have not been taught which causes me to struggle

the community feel was great and the dinners provided were good quality. my issue was with the buses as they were always late leaving us in the cold and dark in winter as well as making me late to my lectures
