Durham is a fantastic university with a really supportive collegiate system. Accommodation is expensive (£5995 this year) but living out is much cheaper up north if you can hold on for a year. The Combined Honours degree is extremely flexible and allows you to pursue your interests in up to four subjects, much less restrictive than the sister course in Exeter.

LOVE the college system. Instant friends and you don't feel like you're invisible. Beautiful old city full of students which means that any trip out- shopping or walking to lectures always guarantees you'll bump into someone.Feels very traditional- gowns and formal dinners. Matriculation in the cathedral.
