Studying at a university which is aesthetically pleasing and has a beautiful campus really helps the romantisisation of university life when the going gets tough with studies. The quality of teaching is also up there obviously. Some areas of improvement would be some of the resources (from experience in the chemistry and biology departments some equipment is a bit old and a bit unreliable at times which doesn't help) Another improvement would be an increased amount of study spaces. This year there is a vast number of students and there isn't enough study spaces

At the moment I'm doing general biology and so some of the subject areas are not of my interest particularly. This makes the motivation to study these modules harder to find. But next semester is all on human which will hopefully make the course more enjoyable

10/12 of the flat blocks were renovated, my flat was one of which was not. I still had to pay the same price as everyone else who had a newly refurbished flat which in my opinion was ridiculous as all the cupboards were hanging and were not as good condition as brand new obviously
