The campus provides a good atmosphere for students and the libraries are good study spaces. As a first year, I appreciate the effort the uni put in to ease us into this step in our lives. If I could improve anything it would be the time in between back to back classes wherein some of my classes are on opposite sides of the campus therefore leaving no time for me to go to the restroom or grab a quick snack without being late. If we could really emphasise the need for lecturers to let us out five minutes before the end of the hour, I think this won’t be as much of a problem. Otherwise Uni of Aberdeen is a really good place to be!

Whilst the course eases all students into learning, I find this to be a good thing and a bad thing, good for those who did not do A-levels and need to be taught from the beginning and unfortunately not engaging towards those who have studied this content before. However, this is something that cannot be solved when a class will have students from all different backgrounds. I like everything else about how the course is taught.
