Really friendly environment, everywhere I go on campus I feel welcomed. The sports facilities are amazing and the extra curricular activities are amazing.

Small groups, therefore lots of one to one time. Quick replies to emails from tutors.

Wifi could be a little better. Maybe a little more cupboard space for the price, but overall really nice and homely. Sink included.

Marjon is great place to study, and the teaching courses are incredibly robust. I feel very supported, and have had a lot of guidance and access to resources. I well and truly believe that I made the right choice to do my PGCE at Marjon. That being said, I have had far less connection to the university community and SU aspects. Part of this is likely just due to being a postgrad who has done all of that before, and also the PGCE timings end up not being very sociable- term starts early and we spend most of our time on placement. I have had very little contact with the students union, so can't confidently comment on it.

I genuinely can't recommend Marjon for a PGCE enough. The coursework is well thought out, and the paperwork work-load is far more manageable than other universities. The structure of the course is logical, and there is so much guidance and support from the university even while out on placement. The uni being smaller means everyone knows who you are, and is able to support you in a much more direct and personal manner. i have had some issues regarding communications and information, but nothing that wasn't easily resolved/ resulted in lost learning etc. I think its mostly case of minor teething problems with recent changes in leadership. The PGCE team are very helpful and responsive and take feedback to heart.
