The university of Chichester is in a beautiful part of Sussex, you get close links to brighton and Portsmouth (if you love shopping like me) and are so close to the coast. Both campuses have a range of high quality facilities, and any resource that you need to succeed can be at arms reach. I am a 3rd year student in primary education, so am coming towards the end of my degree. Most staff are very supportive and knowledgeable. My only aspect where I think this university could improve, would be it’s overall student support network. I don’t feel that the well-being support is strong enough. As a student who faced a major loss in their 1st year, I don’t feel that the university has supported me enough with my well-being. In terms of academic life, I have fully been supported to achieve. There is a wide range of resources that have aided my understanding. The trips relating to the course are great. I’ve had the opportunity to embark on a trip to the Houses of Parliament in the past year which was a great experience.

The quality of lectures isn’t strong enough in my opinion, however the follow up resources are very informative.

Fishbourne halls were literally luxury! I had an en-suite room and shared a kitchen/living space with 3 other girls. The location isn’t ideal but there is a free bus to both campuses and a large Tesco directly next door! The facilities are modern and the security is high.

Great place to study and plenty of support around. Student union put plenty of events on but drinks are way too expensive for uni students, not ideal for social life which needs to be improved.

Great for primary education, tutor has barely been in contact however about assignments and guidance.

Great atmosphere here and amazing place to live, just a tiny inconvenient as far away from my course which is in bognor regis most the time.
