The best aspect is the opportunity to meet so many new people and make great friends. Also being able to teach in schools and get that experience is great. I would say the worst part is the travel. It can get quite expensive and commuting can be hard.

The best is that we are given a full in-depth insight on how to teach. The worst aspect is that it is very fast paced, and can sometimes be a struggle to keep up.

The thing I like the most is that the space is really good and they provide us with many facilities. My least favourite thing is the washing stations as they sometimes don’t work.

The best aspects of my uni experience is the environment with being on the headingley campus at Leeds Beckett, it’s tranquil and beautiful, it makes my day when coming to university. The staff are also kind helpful and it makes my learning journey to becoming a teacher much more enjoyable. There isn’t many worst aspects of my uni experience apart from it can be difficult for me to get to university as I rely on a public transport bus as I live to far away from the free shuttle bus stop, so buses can sometimes not turn up or be late which then can affect me but next year I won’t have to deal with this issue.

Best aspects of my course is the interesting content with separate seminars on each subject required to teach which I find is helping me prepare for what it’s going to be like when I become a primary school teacher, these seminars and lectures also tend to give us lots of free lesson resources and ideas which we can keep and use in the future. The placement we take part in is also so beneficial and gives a real feel for what teaching is like, using what we’ve learnt in the classroom. One worst aspect of the course is travelling to placement if not close it can be really expensive and long, however I know this cannot be helped but is very annoying.

I most like about uni halls is how sociable they are, I have made so many friends and had so much fun. I also like my room and kitchen space with bathroom and bedroom being perfect size. One negative about uni halls, it’s not very close to uni however that’s not a massive deal for me as I enjoy walking. Another negative about my uni halls is there tends to be lots of maintenance problems, the water has gone off many times whilst living here and it does mess a days schedule, there has been times it’s been off for so long I’ve had to go to my gyms showers. The fire alarms also always constantly go off which has woken me up many times for it just to be a drill.
