As a mature student, the night life isn’t something I look for, so I can’t really comment on the student life aspect. Being a breastfeeding mum it is nice to see that the uni has breast feeding rooms available. Meaning I can go there and pump during university. The student support has been good when I was pregnant and once I had my baby to accommodate mum life and student life the uni and I worked together to move me onto the part-time version of the course. Some parts of the uni feel tired and worn. Whereas other parts are modern and fresh! The uni is in the heart of Canterbury, meaning transport links are great. There is a bus station and train station nearby.

Professional placement is hands down the best thing about this course, and I wish a higher percentage of the course could be placement. The rest of the time is spent in lectures, occasionally they will be online, but rarely. The part-time course is mainly self-study, with online materials provided. There will be occasional days in uni, and rarely any live online learning. Some lecturers are better than others, in all aspects, not just teaching. Some are great at communicating, others not at all!!

Lanfranc accommodation is really good. Room sizes are really big and bright. it is nice to have the courtyard especially in the sun. The course is good, support is there if you need it or ask for it but some of the tutors are not as good and supportive as others.
