The university is situated in the centre of Huddersfield so transport is easily accessible. The campus has a wide range of facilities for students to access and a lot of support is there for you if needed. The lecturers are knowledgeable about what they are teaching and offer additional support to help students further their knowledge. University of Huddersfield is a great university.

The course has mainly in class lessons with a few online lessons but a large majority of the course is on placement. This is because the PGCE is a professional course which requires students to teach in different placements in order to be put forth for QTS. The course is Monday to Friday 9-4 when having lessons but on placement the typical hours are 8-4/5. This does make it tricky for students who require to have a part time job alongside studies as the course is very full on.
