SHU is an amazing place to study with many new, open plan and modern study spots. I love to use the library where you can book out rooms. The tutors are overall amazing, helpful and understanding.

The only issue is the recent change to online lectures. While it can be good (for commuters such as myself) there has been several occasions where I have had 6 online lectures in a day which can be draining. The contact with lecturers is wonderful. Many will stop for a chat between lectures which can give amazing insight into wider topics

The best aspect is definitely the teaching staff that Sheffield Hallam university provide. I wouldn’t say worst but the parking in or around the university

Having time to be at placement at a school for a good chunk of the year is super helpful to get an insight on teaching and learning
