The community at Goldsmiths is so creative and accepting, you can tell everyone enjoys the space and they feel supported to continue on their own path. All the courses are very interesting with all of the modules being inclusive and always looking forwards as well as looking into the past. The lecturers always know how to bring the very best out of each student. In the Music department there are lots of interesting ensembles you can join and perform in concert with. There are also very supportive pastoral centres within Goldsmiths, they have a very good disability and wellbeing services.

In my course there are no work placements or internships, hence why it has one-star but if there were these types of opportunities I know they would have ranked highly. The lecturers are all such interesting people and are highly knowledgeable and are always keeping up to date with the latest research. The course is completed in-person, the lectures are two hours long and each individual lecturer has their own contact hours you can book either on the subject page or by emailing them.

The campus is in New Cross, which is a very connected area with many bus stops and two train stations (New Cross and New Cross Gate) and there are other train/tram stations nearby such as Deptford Bridge. New Cross is a very diverse area, the majority of the population are students. There are many different places to eat which offer food from around the world. Within Goldsmiths the Careers Service is amazing, they have a Graduate Scheme and you can book things to help write a CV etc.
