Peaceful and friendly atmosphere

The people you meet are truly wonderful. You meet people from all around the world and the lecturers are deeply invested in your success. The campus being so close to London and Cambridge makes for some wonderful weekend trips and the access to Luton Airport and Stansted Airport is great. The common downside is Hatfield itself doesn’t offer much to the student as it doesn’t have museums or events, but with it’s overall location it compensates to a certain extent.

The lecturers are deeply invested in your success and offer constant guidance. They adjust their teaching methods to your best learning method and are part of the industry so offer both theoretical and practical knowledge. The investment in creating and offering placements isn’t high and it would be my only negative comment so far in my course. Otherwise, it looks bright.

The people I’ve been put with are very clean and organised, and the twin room offers a great experience if you know your roommate. The location within campus is great and it’s close to bus stops, the galleria and town centre. It feels safe and the staff is always there for you. Sometimes it’s a bit noisy but you’re living in a student campus so I wouldn’t expect less.
