Tutors on my course that I have encountered so far are nice. I think that some accessibility needs to be sorted with some of the online reading materials not being compatible with some text to speech technologies

Contact time is good, studio spaces are decent sized but often very cold, some of the floors are uneven. It is sometimes difficult to book rooms suitable to do the group work that is expected of us to complete outside of class hours

I like how close it is to the university, However my flat had issues with our heating + hot water not working, it took 5 days and 2 extra reports before our issue was solved, and we even had campus support accuse us of making a false report until they ran our kitchen tap to discover it didn’t go hot. The washing machines in laundry are overpriced and some of them will flood your clothes, and it is rare that the tumble dryers fully dry your clothing. We’ve had multiple maintenances scheduled where the workers have failed to show up, and inadequate information on the usage of bins, and also Inadequate access to the nescessary bins to dispose of our waste. During the time our doors were being refitted we were left without the magnetic lock for the front door of our flat, which meant anyone could come in or out even without the keycard to access it, I have also witnessed multiple issues with the automatic door to our building failing to close and getting stuck in a cycle of opening and closing. Overall Loring is okay, but I wouldn’t reccomend it if you have other options

Goldsmiths is excellent, I ended up here by chance through clearing and could not have asked for anything better. If you are willing to get involved, There is so much to do. The people are lovely and I have great memories from first two terms. The management could definitely be better.
