I think their could be more social events like there would be at a standard university, group societies and things like that, The facilities are growing so much at the minute and it’s so exciting getting to use the brand new studio spaces at the college. I love being so close to the city centre and feel like I’m in the heart of a very cultural city.

I would love slightly more contact hours, however you do get far more than if you were to study at an ordinary university which is a massive positive. The lecturers are still working in the performing industry and so can give really great and relevant advice.

It’s a great place to study as it has many practice rooms and a lot of high quality equipment that we can use, such as microphones, instruments etc. However, as it’s only one building, there are a limited number of studios so booking the room can be difficult at times!

I really like my course! I get to learn all of the theory whilst doing something practical in the lectures. I have most of the lectures in person and one lecture online, which I think works well as the online lecture sets us up for the following in person lecture.

I think the accommodation I live in is a very good, safe place to stay as a student. It’s in a secure, nice location which isn’t too far from my university. There is always someone at reception so the safety is very good. Living with other students, from lots of different universities, is a great way to meet a variety of different people.
