From my personal experience, attending the University of Greenwich has provided me with a great sense of security for my future aspects. They care heavily on the ensuring students feel safe and comfortable in their learning environments, both in campus and at home. My lecturers are down to earth, relatable people that engage in regular everyday conversations which allows for open and honest conversations whether that has to do with the university workload or anything that is troubling us in our personal lives. Since joining the university I have been met with a great deal of support, for example lecturers taking the time out of their busy schedules to provide us with an extra session or them checking on my well-being after a difficult/traumatic job on my ambulance placement. Personally the worst aspect of the university relates to the specific location of my campus (Avery Hill), I commute through public transport and the campus is not close to a lot of train stations which is my main mode of transport. There is also a lot of traffic when commuting in the mornings for my 9am lectures and heading home after my lectures which extends the commute time even longer. However there is a free campus bus available for students to take to the main campus which helps a lot in my situation. Obviously there is very little the university can do to try and accommodate commuters but I do think its important to consider if people plan to commute as this could may make or break their university experience.

The course content is very thorough and is explained to all students to the best of the lecturers ability, when attending lectures I take in a lot of information which tells me that the lecturers are very skilled in breaking down concepts and processes for student learning. My only complain is that when I've missed a lecture in the past and had catch up on my own time by overlooking the PowerPoint slides and PDF's resources, I found it difficult to understand certain slides/ PDF's because some of them are just bullet points with hard terms that are unexplained. I'd prefer it if they gave more additional resources from external outlets such as YouTube, web browser pages or even TikTok that would provide a simpler explanation of these difficult concepts, in case we are unable to attend the lecture.
