The campus and facilities are great. They are local to other study areas and close to, if not in, city centre. This makes both day and night time activities readily available for all demographics. Student support from my lecturers in my experience has been great, always prioritised and treated as an individual rather than just a student. However, it could be improved through encouraging a better sense of community between and in societies. Most societies feel very ‘clicky’ and I have found it difficult to fit in to most. This could be improved by more common and varied social nights, as I have found that the majority of them centre around club nights which is not tailored to everyone.

I have loved my ambulance placement. It solidifies that this is the career I want to do. However, non-ambulance placement is mandatory and lets the placement down as it is not enjoyable or relevant. Most of my course is taught in person, with one module this year being majorly online and self taught. Though this is good as I can take my time and do it when I choose, it is difficult to balance full lectures on top of placement, assignments and in-person lectures, alongside extracurricular activities and my social life.

Peverell was great as it was on campus and easy to get to and from my lectures. There was also buses going straight from the city centre to my campus which made it very easy to go out and get back. However, Peverell was not a good value for money. It was way too overpriced for the facilities provided and like many other students, I did not have any choice but to stay in those halls. Many friends of mine would complain of black mould upon moving in, and for myself, my bathroom had a ruined floor and broken toilet and shower which needed repairing while I was there. Additionally, the fridge would lose power often and the door would fall off and the oven did not heat food correctly, only heating one side, which was also common in other flats.

dont have a particularly bad experience so far. the facilities are incredible and there is an amazing support system in place

way better than I expected to be fair. plenty of storage in the room. right on campus so it is easy to get to lectures
