Great place to study but could do with better student union facilities

I really like that all campus is close and not spread throughout the city. It is a great way to attend lectures and not be late. It is also surrounded by student accommodations which makes it great to commute. For the department, it would be great if there was more equipment and/or newer equipment. Furthermore, I think it would be nice to have more interesting events throughout the year, or if there are and I am not aware of them to be better promoted.

The contact with lecturers is relatively good but there always are some lecturers that are not as approachable as others. Career prospects is good but I feel like there are less chemical engineering jobs out in the market as opposed to previous years. The teaching quality is great and tutors are open to answering questions, however some lecturers make communication more difficult.

The university is very close to the city center and there are links to many nearby cities.

Student halls are easy to find (most of the time) and they are well maintained. However, there were a few incidents where the hall was too small to accommodate everyone.
