I have enjoyed studying at Bangor. There are many interesting clubs and societies. The university is very supportive of its students are facilities are for the most part excellent.

Lectures and emails, BEA award

It's actually been really good. I've been supported and helped with everything I need. I broke my back in an RTC in December 2014 so needed a different mattress and the chance to get up and walk around during long periods of sitting and they provided an awesome mattress and assigned me a PLSP (personal learning support program) which they put everything I needed on with no fuss. I've enjoyed my lectures and modules. The societies are awesome. I'm just really enjoying it.

There are workshops run that you can go to on many aspects of improving your employability. The lecturers also talk about ways in which to do so.

They are all doing current research and are experts in their field. The lectures are interesting and they try to make them engaging for everyone by using in lecture experiments and one of them gets us to do live quiz questions by using a website that collates everyone's answers immediately. I love the subjects so I just think they are awesome.

I haven't been involved much. Been busy with my course and with the societies I have joined.

Excellent! I live in one of the older halls (they still have an actual key rather than a key card) and they are awesome. The rooms are good sizes with everything you need, the kitchen has loads of storage and is a nice place to be social and the ensuite is a terrific thing to have. Maintenance are always super quick if you need anything (the microwave stopped working one day and there was a new one there the next). Security are friendly. The whole Ffriddoedd halls site has a lovely ambiance.

Really good! They are constantly updating all their facilities. The libraries are easily accessible and the practical labs are really high spec. They also have a really good gym on the halls site. The lecture rooms are good too in that they have speakers around the room so when the lecturer wears a microphone its really easy to hear them and most of the lecture halls have plug sockets for laptops.

It's a really friendly city. There's plenty to do in the day. You feel safe at night. I don't club much but the pubs are really good.

FREE! I joined several and a couple have become like family to me. There is so much variety that there is something for everyone.

Academic support is awesome. You are assigned a tutor and bet up with them throughout the term in your groups and they are always available to email. They have a really good non academic sort base as well. It's really easy to get help when you need it.

They built Pontio which links very strongly the community and the university. With its cinema, theatre and cafes/restaurants available to all. There are some really strong ties between the local people and the university they just seem to go well.
