Overall, I love my course and the university and my experience is really great! I am a third year student and sad that this chapter of my life will be over soon. However, I gained so much knowledge and great skills for my future career!

How does your uni make efforts to increase your employability (careers department, work placements, transferable skills)?

Practical skills, employability events and workshops, CV and motivational letter support, job search support, various outside and inside events with potentional employers, past students' talks, email job offers and placements from employers related to our course

Course and Lecturers

What do you like most and least about the way your course(s) are taught?

I love all the practical experiences our university provides. Our coursework is very interesting and on professional level, which will help us in our future job. We have amazing network support of Academic Mentors and Success Coaches specific to our course. Also, our lecturers are very approachable and always open to consulting any issues we have. We also have frequent drop in sessions and tutorials for coursework support.

Students' Union

What do you think of your Students' Union in terms of student representation and facilities?

Our Students' Union is great. They have amazing new builduing which is nice place to socialise, also they have exbox there and other facilities. They provide free mentstrual products and take care of any issues we have. Personally, I don't get involved too much due to lack of time, but I am very happy with the way how it is run and the services it supports.

Uni Facilities

How good are your university's facilities?

The facilities are very nice. We have a lot of places for group and individual study. The library is well equiped and modern offering 4 floors. Newly, we also have the Roding building which is really nice and modern place to work on your assignments. We also have many places to eat and drink, however, they could be opened a bit longer.

Local life

Is your university in a good location in terms of distance to accommodation and local amenities?

London is great multiculcural city with endless opportunities and possibilities. The transport system is easy and everything is well connected. I am sure everybody will find what they love in here.

Societies and Sports

How would you rate the variety of societies/sports?

There are plenty of societies in the university. However, I am only part of the Nutrition Society as that is related to my course. I heard a good feedback about the other ones.

Student Support

How good is the support offered by the uni? Think both academic (tutors/feedback) and personal (counselling, etc).

The support is very good. Offering acedimic tutors and success coaches focused on specific courses. You can also book a appointment with a lecturer if further support is need. They provide a lot of tutorials and drop in session for various practicals and coursework. Also, we have the Hub where you can find solution to any of your problem and there is a librarian for each course too.
