London is a great place to study and there are opportunities everywhere if you make the effort yourself! The worst aspects will be during the pandemic, which is general to everyone's uni experience during this time, it took a good chunk of my university away and therefore the real experience I had for 3 years, is not so accurate. However, the best parts have been returning back into university, I feel that my course is intense yet offers me lots of practical skills Given the intensity of my course, it is sometimes hard to balance having great grades and maintaining a social life, but King's have been quite adaptable in people's circumstances and provide great healthcare support for those on healthcare courses. Waterloo is not the best campus but Strand, Bush House, Maughan library, Guy's campus are beautiful; for STEM students, Guy's is the best out there in terms of a true campus feel yet you're right in central London which is amazing! The cost of London is immense but King's have been offering support to those of low-income as well - for UK students and have lots of things going on for first-gen students and support in general, which is really key

My course at the moment is fully online which is great and interactive & you get a lot of chance to socialise, network and form great friendships within your cohort, as it is quite small amount! I would say the course is great due to the small size also (around 30-40 people) The worst aspects would be there are a lot of guest lecturers, which aren't great quality and in general teaching over the years have been lower standards than expected. However, a couple lecturers this year have been great, though rare but extremely attentive and interesting. Another great aspect is there are some really great guest lectures that occur throughout the year and job opportunities if you have time

London has everything and anything, it suits honestly anyone! However, it is really expensive and with cost of living, it is hard if you don't have a full maintenance loan or someone to support you financially or especially if you have a high contact hour course and unable to work part time. There are lot of employment opportunities post-university and diversity at KCL is vast with a lot of people from everywhere. The cost of transport is expensive and you should consider cycling or walking, as even with cheap rent, commutes will make it expensive.

The staff and students are very welcoming and nice, so are the facilities as such. However, when ai reached our for support it did take some time until I actually received it which makes it harder for people in desperate need for help and support.

The course is quite superficial in some parts which, I guess, is because people from all undergraduate backgrounds can join it. That impedes quick progress in contents and progressive discussion. However, within the content it provides, the course is quite well structured.

It's just super expensive and not really affordable for students, especially in the gost of living crisis.
