Fantastic! As someone who studied at University of Glasgow for a year then re-applied for Dundee. I can’t express how much better Dundee has been. I am much happier here and feel much better cared for. It really is a student- centric university.

Great student union which is very cheap for food and drink. Can’t comment on representation of students as have little experience although I do recall our class rep putting forward Greviences about our course which were clearly and promptly addressed.

Yes. Close to bars, shops, restaurants, gym etc.

The variety of sports is not as large as at other universities. For example there is no cheerleading or gymnastic club which is annoying.

I like most that our lectures are in the same lecture hall all day so there is no trekking from lecture hall to lecture hall getting lost . I least like that we have huge blocks of theory then huge blocks of practical, I feel this would be better if it was more mixed as at the moment I will be on placement for 3 months before returning to lectures.

From first year we have been given career lectures and have an excellent careers service which even helps students find part-time work.

Being in the Kirkcaldy Campus I think we sometimes get forgotten about when it comes to student life, which doesn't really affect me as a mature student but I do feel for the younger students. Another example being the setting up of a student pantry to help with the cost of living, again only for the Dundee campus. Overall I have had a great experience so far, the Fife Campus are really friendly and all the staff are very supportive and approachable.

Guaranteed job for life at the end of the course. A lot of online work, a necessity of covid, I do prefer to be on campus but understand why this is. The library is great and the staff there couldn't be more helpful.
