Can't make the most of what's available as a mature student with children. But if I was able to there is a lot available.

Its much harder than anticipated, but I'm still enjoying it. I like the blended learning. Course lecturers can be emailed at any time but sometimes get no response even when clearly important. Lecturers are approachable and friendly and clearly knowledgeable.

Stafford university offers a layout of lectures and placements that other universities don't. Such as having 3 different placements a year and knowing where you go at the start of the year and assignments being laid out so there isn't too much going on at once. They could improve by having more placements or hands on assessment options rather than assignments. Could improve on having available tutors for those that struggle academically.

Fairly good with the amount of online and in-class lectures but can depend. Personally contact has been good with lecturers.

Did not have a choice when wanting to stay in halls when choosing to attend Black Heath Lane. Very small room with missing furniture and broken heating. Not enough room in kitchen cupboards for all students. Had issues with STF payment and team dealing with payments told me paying my rent was more important that leaving myself money for food and life. Left accommodation after a few weeks (6) due to mental health problems and was made to pay for the whole term (18 weeks) even though I was struggling financially. Only nice thing was I could pay back sum in monthly payments which I am still paying in my third year!
