Student support is absolutely astounding, especially for trans and lgbtq+ students. So many activities organised by the student union which is even more ambitious and active in the university. Staff on the nursing course are some of the most caring people in the world (naturally) and amazing teachers. Facilities available, mainly on city campus, are amazing. Habita is a fan favourite amongst students for being so affordable and still delicious. The campus looks very modern and clean, and the library is even better with so many floors, open 24/7 with IT support also always available. The town is quite nice but some areas can be quite dodgy, broken glass. Some accomodations have pests (rats, beetles etc).

course is taught majority face to face, with some occasional online lectures and lots of supplementary online learning. Contact with lecturers is pretty easy, especially Amy Swift. All lecturers respond very quickly to queries, worries, problems etc.

lots of drunk and homeless people, broken glass etc. otherwise lots of shops, amazing and simple to use public transport that is easy to access.

Currently 148/week. Laundry only has a few washing machines and almost always at least one is out of order, but often more. Staff at reception are very friendly and receptive. New parcel room is quite cool and helpful. Had a beetle infestation in the kitchen at the beginning of the year that we managed to sort out without help from any staff. They have some activities organised in the common room area provided. Broken post box for the first 2 and a half months that meant anyone could access our post.

Great start to my adult life. Being able to make new friends and live independent, understanding finances and learning who i am as an individual. Support from peers and staff is amazing and a great city to live in with such good places and prices for students.

Great start to my occupation, a nice warm welcome to the course with the correct amount of support. Placement teams have been amazing and have allowed me to enjoy my time and achieve more than i ever expected. I find myself wanting to go above and beyond due to the motivations in and out of placements and university. The support around exams and essays are amazing, tutors and peer are always available for any assistance.

Such good value for money, provided cash back in which helped with house deposits for my further years. 24/7 security and staff which really helped in times of emergency. Good facilitates ans a great experience for making new friends within anew city in first year.
