How good are your university's facilities?

The facilities are second to none. We have purpose built practice suites for paramedics, midwifery and nursing where they have real life scenarios to practice clinical skills and real lile situations

How good is the support offered by the uni? Think both academic (tutors/feedback) and personal (counselling, etc).

The support at ljmu is the best ive experienced i have dyslexia as well as some mental health issues and they are always there and cant do enough to help

The student union is the best ive seen always happy to get involved and represents the students very well

Local life

Is your university in a good location in terms of distance to accommodation and local amenities?

The university is right in the middle of the town centre. We have lots of local amenities, food, accommodation, shopping and more.

The societies in the university are so wode variety theres something for everyone

Our courses have long lectures as well as smaller ones which helps different people learn in different ways

I have loved being a student at LJMU I am due to qualify in March 2020 I will miss the uni a lot but I am excited to become a staff nurse and I have been given a job on my management placement. It’s an amazing feeling knowing that you have accomplished everything you set out to do.

Facilities

How good are your university's facilities?

The facilities are great. Library is open when you need it and the cafe. It’s really cosy for when you need to go in and get some work done.

Student support

How good is the support offered by the uni? Think both academic (tutors/feedback) and personal (counselling, etc).

The support at LJMU is second to none. They care about your wellbeing and make every effort to support you through any personal circumstances. They give you extensions when needed and personal tutors are always available via email or a call for a chat.

LJMU nursing is in a great location in the heart of Liverpool city centre. Close to shops pubs bars and lots of entertainment and transport links.
