As A mature student, university is daunting at the most, but Brunel does not have that overbearing feel which some other universities do. The lecturers actually really help you and go out of their way to do so. Brunel is a great place to study due to the support and genuine guidance which is truly appreciated. My only gripe would be the terribly cold rooms. but with a cup of hot tea and a few scarfs, this is easily overlooked as the lectures are really interesting

I have waited for many years to have the time to embark on this course as work situations forbade me to free up the time to attend. So I am going to make the most of my time here. We are taught in class, this is full time course and I attend 2 days per week. The course hours are enough, topping up with substantial time in the library. Contact with lecturers is very good, I understand they are extremely busy so ensure we do not take up too much of their time.

As a post graduate students what is a best aspect is the post grad areas in the library. That was something I thought to be very effective as it is less noisy compared to other floors in the library. Also having the IT support in the library helps. The worst aspect of uni I think might be the cost of the food. You don’t really get a discount.

Not every lecturer have the same momentum when they teach so that can make the lecture not very interesting.
