I am a first year student and am amazed at the standard of not only the education but the care for students. The University has brilliant facilities and a vast support system.

The union provides a wide range of activities and events that brings students together.

The lectures are well - structured, clear and the lecturers are fantastic.

BCU has a high employability rating which gives me confidence of entering my proffession successfully.

I have not stayed in the accommodation however have only heard positive things.

Best: - Skills team - SIMS - Most lecturers are enthusiastic and make sessions fun and interesting. - Seacole building has nice/ modern facilities e.g. BLS having mannequins connected to monitor. Worst: - More support and guidance needed for ePad e.g. crossfield experience(sometimes hard to obtain), general guidance on content needed for interviews/ episode of care - Having placement whilst at uni makes it difficult to focus and juggle work/ uni/ self studying/ life balance. - It can be overwhelming with pre-session, and post-session, especially when mixing placement with uni. Preferably having 2 modules together rather than placement.

Although most module content is taught well, there are times where I feel there's not enough time spent explaining complex/ new information

- Close to Birmingham City Centre - Good bus transport links, but further away from train station - Limited parking nearby, must go to Fiveways/ City Centre
