The university has been a great experience, they are very welcoming to new students and provides support when needed. The university facilities are very good (city campus) and the student union is very good, there is always events.

I am really enjoying the course so far. The tutors are really welcoming and are always willing to help. In first year, there are weekly meetings with your tutor group. There are many projects and the work is a lot but I am learning a lot. I had not used adobe before starting the course, however the workshops have been helpful for learning how to use adobe. The week consists of more workshops so you will be in the studio doing physical work a lot more than being in lectures or seminars

So far I am enjoying my experience at Sandhills. The value for money is good because it is cheaper than many other accommodations but it provides free washing in each of the flat kitchens. The location is great! It is near the city campus, 5 minute walk from newton building. It is near literally all of the clubs, theres corner shops near by and a tesco and it next to the city centre. Its not far from the train station too. The only con is that it is on a slight hill which can be difficult if you are carrying shopping. The rooms are very nice they have lots of storage spaces and a big desk and wardrobe. The bathrooms are nice especially compared to some other accommodations. 4 starts for cleaning since there isnt cleaners for the flats so its up to you and your flatmates to keep your flat clean. but the communal areas are clean. Assigned a random room when booking. There are events organised every now and then which is great for getting to know other people in the building, like a bbq, breakfasts, arts and crafts, quiz
