My university experience has been fantastic. Having been to university previously, I found that i did not enjoy it as much before, perhaps it was the course but the university played a huge part. However, my experience at MMU has been a delight. The friends iv made, the job oppertunities, the prime location and many more

University facilities are very good and I am never short of a pc to use. It does get crowded at times and the lack of air conditioning doesnt help. I have been able to book at laptops for use which is really usefull but also use the library in the evening without having to worry about rushing or safety as security is quite good their.

The student support has been really good in terms if allowing me to purchase a laptop using the met card, pay for food using the met card and and also replacing any lost cards instantly when losing mine. However the fees will always be too high but the bursaries offered compensate for this. I find support is always at hand when needed, either a phone call away or just a visit in the finance department. The customer service is brilliant, very helpfull and understanding.

I had been looking forward to the new union for quite some time now, and i conpared the old union to the new one. By far the new union is very good in terms of facilities and arrangements however, I thought it would of been good to have comfortable seating areas such as bean bags, comfy chairs or coloured sofas etc in the main hall rather then standard chairs, The union shop looks rather small and has limited range of equipment but also food products. However, the starbucks section is kinda nice along side with the bar which allows me to use my met card.

city life is really good. In my first year i explored manchester more then ever. Being part of a huge city alongside 2 other university's is really exciting as i also bump into friends near by. City centre is not to far either and local food places are convenient when grabbing lunch. The events held in Manchester are very good which also involves different cultures, music from different areas but also different prospectives on life all combined in one city to bring a diverse multicultural society.

I havnt really had time to join many clubs and societies due to university work, however i have had good feedback from peers telling me of the clubs n societies theyve attended.

My course is very structured and quite challenging compared to my previous university. I found that the seminars really benefit me, the lecturers deliver good examples and are constructive and helpfull. My course peers and tutors are all exceptionally well trained and give good advice.

Job prospects whilst at university has been fantastic. I have really gained addition skills which i could put on my cv. The pay is very good to and the hourse to work around my studies is perfect.
